Proofs of ability and eligibility to exercise the professional activity may be requested before and during the service. Due diligence will be conducted for the selection process.
To be eligible, applicants have to submit a concise proposal in PDF format.
The proposal should include :
- A brief presentation of your profile or organisation (motivation, services and tools, operations, etc.)
- Description of your proposition with a description of your methodology
- Reporting proposition
- References
- Quotation and overall financial proposal
- A detailed budget must be provided (PDF, Excel or Word - 2 pages maximum)

The applicant must be able to provide the entire service for the duration of the service and justify its expenses/budget (with timesheets for example). The budget proposal is a selection criteria (20%), Digital Africa will be authorized to negotiate and challenge it. (Digital Africa will be able to negotiate the price indicated by the candidate in its proposal.)
The financial proposal has to include the following elements:
- Quotation and overall financial proposal (be sure to precise the budget for each lot, and if possible for each event)
- A detailed budget must be provided (PDF, Excel or Word - 2 pages maximum)

We will be attentive to the technical capabilities related to :
1) Quality and relevance of the proposal - 30%
2) Overall experience - 30%
- Experience in gender, innovation and startup ecosystem support
- Technical and operational feasibility
- Capacity to access the participant target (Startup female founders, women tech profiles, women enablers from the ecosystem, ...)
3) References - 20%
4) Budget proposal and cost effectiveness - 20% (Digital Africa will be able to negotiate the price indicated by the candidate in its proposal.)

Description succincte du marché : Women play a crucial role in the agriculture and tech ecosystem in Africa, yet their contributions often suffer from a lack of visibility and recognition. They may also remain on the margins, further removed or isolated from traditional support and investment ecosystems.
Digital Africa is looking for an implementing partner to identify eligible startups with female founders for co-designing hackathons and organising several events to support women in the agriculture and tech ecosystem with a focus on data, data sharing and AI development challenges.
In concrete terms, the main actions are :
Lot 1: Identifying eligible startups with female founders to co-design hackathon's challenges
Lot 2: Organising networking events for women in Agritech
Lot 3: Designing capacity-building sessions (bootcamps, workshops, etc) tackling Data Sharing and AI models in the project's sectors
Lot 4: Supporting the organisation of thematic sessions linked to AI 4 Startups thematic during ecosystem events
Allocation of the tender: Each lot could be managed by a different service provider, based on a batch approach. In this case, please precise in your proposal the lot you can manage, the possible location from the global scope and also the budget by event.
- The service provider can either respond from one to to all the lots. Even if you candidate for all the lots, the proposal will be considered by lots, which means you could be selected for a part of your proposal.
- Digital Africa can select several service providers for the same lot, in particular if it allows to have events in different countries from the scope.
- The service provider is not required to cover the entire geographical scope, but each event must take place in one of these countries.

Description du lot : Lot 1: Identifying eligible startups with female founders to co-design hackathon's challenges.
The service provider is expected to deliver :
1) Identify eligible startups (by geography, sector, data readiness) led or co-led by women.
2) Deploy a survey (provided by Digital Africa) to collect insights on startups' data and AI needs.
3) Deliver a validated challenge summary and dataset inventory following the AI 4 Startups templates

1) Organize and facilitate at least one women-centered networking event focused on AgriTech, AI, and/or data sharing.
2) The format may include dinners, informal meetups, or structured discussions.
3) Ensure participation of women startup founders, tech profiles, and ecosystem enablers.
4) Provide a participant list, photos, and key takeaways after the event.
5) If possible, plan them to align with the Digital Africa team's travel schedule.

- Design and implement one or more capacity building sessions (bootcamps, workshops, etc) aligned with AI 4 Startups themes (AI, AgriTech, data sharing, data collection and labeling, etc.).
- Targeted at women startup founders or professionals involved in the project scope.
- Include technical modules, business coaching, and peer-to-peer sharing sessions. Feel free to suggest formats you consider more suitable.
- Provide a curriculum overview, participation list, and satisfaction feedback.
